Open/ Search for: Search Connect with an AdvisorThe College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) Academic Advising Center (AAC) serves current undergraduate students in CLAS majors (on-campus, PaCE, and UF Online ), Exploratory students, Pre-Health, and Pre-Law students. The Beyond120 program supports undergraduate students by cultivating career readiness through coursework and experience. Students can connect to an advisor for the appropriate advising service (Appointments, Advising for Quick Questions, Workshops, Email Advising , Forms Submission ). Thank An Advisor Academic advisors are here to support student academic success and guide students to making well-informed decision-making skills. Academic advisors are critical to supporting your academic success. If you know an advisor who deserves a special recognition, please let us know! Advising Appointments Appointments open at midnight 7 days in advance. If no appointments are listed, check back between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. weekdays for same-day appointments. Masks may be requested in individual advising offices if scheduling an in-person appointment. Peer Advising To schedule a Peer Advisor appointment, follow the survey . Peer Advisors can help: Students graduating this or next term who want to confirm they’ll meet the requirements. Students who want to confirm their schedule will put them on track by the end of the term. Students with simple questions about their degree audit (e.g., how do I meet foreign language, do I need another Writing course? etc.). Students in first or second year who want to change their majors to a CLAS major and who are/can easily be on-track for the next term for the new major. Advising for Quick Questions (Remote) Drop in between 3:00 and 4:30 p.m. today only if your question is quick. Students will be served on a first-come, first-served basis within the AQQ block. An advisor should be able to answer your question within 5 minutes, for example: Confirming what you need to graduate next term. Confirming your schedule will put you on track by the end of next term. Simple questions about your degree audit (e.g., how do I meet foreign language, do I need another Writing course? etc.). Changing to a CLAS major if you are in your first- or second-year and are or can easily be on-track for the next term for the new major. Questions about declaring a minor. Be sure to go to the ZOOM WAITING ROOM link in the pop-up box after you’ve signed into the Advising for Quick Questions lobby . Email Email us your simple questions. Examples include confirming degree requirements, degree audit questions, whether a course meets requirements, etc. Emails can take 3 business days during peak times such as the beginning of the semester. Forms During peak times forms can take up to 10 business days to be processed, and another 10-15 business days to be processed by the Registrar’s Office. See our Forms page for instructions.
